Lincoln Crime, Dr. Seuss-Style

We brought out an oldie but a goodie this week when we heard that our favorite Lincoln criminal with a rhyming name had been convicted and sentenced for second-degree assault and would be spending a few months in jail.  Here’s the kicker:  his name is Abdul Gul, and the assault happened while he was playing pool (well, technically, we only know he used a pool cue, but still) at a North Lincoln bar.  I think I need to get in touch with Chief Casady to find out if this is the rhymiest crime in Lincoln history.

So, with Abdul back in the news, we thought it necessary to bring back our meticulously crafted, wildly popular and completely rhyming poem:  The Story of Abdul Gul.  Trust us, there are a lot of lessons to be learned here.
